Woot. More fail romanji for you all to look at. CORRECT AWAY~

Before I explain the journal title, I'M DONE WITH SPEECH~ Possibly forever, unless my major somehow involves having to take a speech course. Again. Given that I've taken Speech twice already, I REALLY wouldn't mind that. Moving on, it was a pretty intense week, to say the least. Speech after speech after speech after presentation after presentation. Phew. .A. And I felt like I did decently with most of them. With the exception of the impromptu speech we had to do on Thursday AND the Scripture reading I did for the "final showcase" on Friday. I feel like I did extremely well with those. For impromptu speeches, we had to critique the other students and hand it to them after they were finished. Everyone had positive things to say about my impromptu speech about "Our Best Quality". What I chose? My sense of humor~ ;D So I suppose the topic itself was amusing to everyone, so that's always good.
Long story short, intense last week, but I suppose it was okay for the most part.

But, Speech aside, I submitted a parking request form for a parking space in my school's garage on Friday.
Shat just got real, you guys.
So, as practice for when I actually have to drive myself to school this year, I drove myself (without my dad in le passenger seat) to the summer speech course every day, parked in the garage, walked through the Lower School wing, go outside by the "White House", go into the theater and into the turntable room.
. . . Yeah. Hopefully, when summer's over, all the construction will be done, and walking from the garage to the junior hallway will be much easier. :S But, I know my way to school now (Milestone for me, since I suck with directions in general), so it should be fine. The problem is the early morning school traffic . . . Oh well. I'll figure that one out. Somehow.

So, as one can guess, I've been on an anime binge ever since Friday. Decent progress, if I do say so myself. Which leads me to the explanation of the journal title. It's a reference to Accel World, for those who've never seen it. And if you've never seen it, GO. WATCH. NOW.
I do admit I get lost with the terminology every now and then, but it's so amazing. And I'm not just saying that because one of the guys happens to have Crow's voice.
. . . You read that right.
Although, it took me QUITE a while for me to register that Taku is voiced by Shintaro Asanuma. I'm used to Asanuma-sama voicing characters that are reckless, obnoxious, and loud on a regular basis. Taku isn't exactly like that, so it was only after that one episode where he screamed bloody murder that it clicked.
Yeah. I'm weird. Sue me. xP But, nonetheless, interesting anime with an interesting concept. One of the girls ( . . . Scratch that. Two, so far.) makes me want to shake her sometimes, but otherwise, it's pretty good. :3

And speaking of anime girls that make me want to shake them,
Phi Brain.
Dear God.
Okay. Let me start of by saying that while most anime females have annoyed me throughout the years, only two have successfully made me want to kill them in vicious, Higurashi and Umineko-esque ways. Which is ironic, considering my real name and what it literally translates too.
Aki Izayoi from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's and Nonoha Itou from Phi Brain.

Now, those who knew me since I started watching YGO 5D's, which is about the same time I joined dA, understand my hatred towards Aki. But, I'll spell it out for those who were fortu-I mean, who haven't met me yet. ;D;;;;
I used to like Aki Izayoi when I started watching 5D's. I mean, FINA-FACKING-LY. A YGO female that isn't a worthless dinglebat. About time.
And then, episode 41 happened.
And Aki became worse. And worse. And worse. And worse. (Exception of episodes 60 - 61, of course)
This process continued for quite sometime. And I became more and more fed up with her at about the same time I became fed up with Yusei.
And if you've seen Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, you have also noticed that as the series progressed, Aki became all, "YUSEI YUSEI YUSEI~" Annoying as that is, I actually didn't mind it, considering I grew up hearing Anzu say that. :/ But, that's where the problem lies. Whenever someone suggests anything to her, she chews them out like it was the dumbest idea ever.
Example? Episode 152. (Warning: Paraphrasing ahead~)
"Well, with Aki's skill, she could easily become a pro-duelist." - Crow
"WHY THE HELL IS EVERYONE CHOOSING MY PATH FOR ME, DAMMIT." - Aki
" . . ." - Everyone else

You see the problem? Crow was merely stating a fact, not deciding her destiny. The blockhead clearly took it the wrong way, even after she was supposedly "past" her Arcadia Movement stage. ._. Here's something in contrast (From one of the Team Unicorn episodes. Don't remember.):
"Here, Aki. Take my Stardust Dragon." - Yusei
"OMGYUSEIIIIIIIIIIIII." - Aki

The funny thing about that is, I think Yusei knew she was going to lose. So he gave her Stardust for her to summon, so when she DOES lose, he would have the advantage.
Hey. Seems probable to me. uMad? >:3 (EveryoneknowsYuseilikedBruno. /shot)
But, my point is, she seemed to have suffered from a "Prince Charming" disease, considering her dad's shat parenting skills. So when Divine "disappeared", she clung to Yusei instead. Which wouldn't be a problem, except for two little things.
One, this is Yu-Gi-Oh!. Canon romance apart from parents and Priest SetoxKisara? Get out. Didn't happen with DM or GX, so it shouldn't happen with 5D's, no matter how they try to differentiate themselves from the other two series.
Two, her little romance issues wouldn't be a problem if she didn't try to scratch out eyeballs of anyone that wasn't Yusei. :/

So, for this reason, as I told a certain British person who shall remain nameless on Skype once, I'd want to burn her alive, then toss the remains in the water, burn it again, toss them into water, so on and so forth. ;D

Now, with Nonoha, I don't hate her quite as much as Aki. Far from it. However, in a sense, she's far worse than Aki because she's Mary Sue incarnate. :/ On top of that, she doesn't believe that Kaito's allowed to have any feelings other than enjoyment or anger. (And by that, I mean anger towards people making "Kenja puzzles") AND she's the "childhood friend" of Kaito's. It makes me SO mad. See, as annoying as Anzu from DM was with her "Yugi Yugi" nonsense, bar that one episode in Doma Arc, at least she let Yugi or Yami have FEELINGS. And she was Yugi's childhood friend. But, with Nonoha, she does that consistently. There's a fine line between trying to cheer someone up and trying to not allow them to have feelings. If Kaito wants to mope about how Rook turned batshat crazy, let him. Granted stop him when it goes on for too long, but still. It's not good to suppress feelings. Especially with guys. :/
Hence why I was so happy with episode 18, where Gammon was all, "Kaito. Stay away from Nonoha." Even though poor Kaito was disillusioned and was all, "Da fuq you talking about?" I don't want to spoil anything in case any of you want to watch the series, but Gammon had REALLY good intentions when he said that. In fact, probably the smartest thing that ever came out of his mouth. But no. Nonoha just HAD to interfere . . .

So yeah. The only main female lead in the show, and I hate her guts. Go me. ;D But, some people have told me they felt the same way, so I'm sure I'm not alone in my reasoning.

But, other than that, I really don't have anything else to say about the other anime I'm watching. Except I recently nearly bawled my eyes out in a way I haven't done since YGO DM 224. And that was for an anime that's JUST as old. ;A; (Rurouni Kenshin FTW)

And while I'm in a ranting mood (in case you haven't noticed), I really, REALLY don't like people who ask for anime recommendations and THEN, when they do get them, they ridicule them. And they haven't even watched it yet and only looked at the synopsis on MAL. :/ On facebook, I was part of this group dedicated to anime, and I would literally spam that group like no tomorrow. So, this one "friend" (I'm questioning that relation myself at the moment) of mine, after finishing 07-Ghost, said, "OMGOMGOMGOMG. I NEED AN AWESOME ANIME TO WATCH. Someone give me recommendations quick! D: It can be shoujo, just as long as it's awesome."
So, going by the list she gave of the anime she's completed, I gave her recommendations such as Cardfight!! Vanguard (naturally), Phi Brain: Kami no Puzzle, Accel World, Kimi ni Todoke, and Umineko no Naku Koro ni.

And what do you know. She said, "No." to all of them. With Kimi ni Todoke, clearly shoujo and clearly awesome, she said, "Nope. Nevermind. I need action. And a shounen anime." -_-
With Cardfight!! Vanguard, she said, "Um. Anime that doesn't have card games as the main focus, please? Kthnxbai." WHEN IT HAS ACTION AND IT'S A BLOODY SHOUNEN ANIME. What the fuggin' heck?
With Umineko, I was NEVER so insulted. When I suggested Umineko no Naku Koro ni, "Um. An Indiana Jones like guy with little Indians running around? Not in the mood for murder mystery."

. . . I wanted to punch my screen. She hasn't even read the manga OR the Visual Novels, (Only the synopsis) and she compared it to THAT? What the bloody hell? >: Even worse, she's SEEN Higurashi and she claims to like "blood and guts". Tch. I see how it is. Granted Studio DEEN did a less than stellar job with it, but for those who haven't seen the VN or read the manga, they thought it was decent. Seriously.

And with Accel World and Phi Brain? "Nope." Although, given that I DO have a friend who doesn't like Phi Brain either (And THAT friend with my indecisive "acquaintance" share similar anime tastes), so I wasn't really all surprised about that one.

In the end, she DID choose a shoujo anime to watch and shoujo manga to read, the polar opposite of 07-Ghost. UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH. That seriously drives me INSANE when people do that. What I strongly dislike most about the anime fanbase: Indecisive fans calling themselves "otakus". I suppose it's to get back at me for when she tried to force ME to watch an anime that had similar elements to Natsume Yuujinchou (which she claimed had no "likeness", but there clearly was.) and I said, "No." Even when she said that I will "die of non-awesome if I don't."

Bee-yotch, please. I'm part Prussian. I'm automatically awesome. But, the difference between the above incident and my whole little episode with her? See, I don't TRY to shove anime down people's throats when they clearly don't show any interest in it. If you've been messaged by me constantly about either watching Hetalia, Vanguard, 5D's, or whatever, you SHOULD know I was only doing that because YOU showed an interest in it. ;D Not because "you're missing out" or anything like that. I may have been like that in the past (The shoving down anime down people's throats, I mean), but I've been trying to deviate from that. That's not what being an anime fan is all about, after all. I've come to realize that not everyone's gonna like the anime I watch (My involvement with YGO has REALLY helped in that regard . . .), so why pester them when they aren't interested?

Now, I do realize this may sound a little bit immature and whiny of me, especially at 16 years old. And, well, maybe it is. I've spent most of my life being "the mature one", and there's really nothing wrong with a little immaturity every now and then. However, it so happens that I also live in a democratic country (although even THAT status is in jeopardy now, thanks to the current government. -_-), so I SHOULD have the freedom of being able to watch what I want to watch, not what other people want. I'll take "suggestions", but there's no way in hell I'm going to be "forced" to watch anything I don't want to watch.

So, after that whole incident, I decided to leave the group. No one was commenting on the stuff that I was posting there (Kinda similar to here and tumblr . . . /shot Just kidding. Love you guys~) anyway, so no one would miss me. Besides, if MY opinions aren't going to be taken into consideration either, I'm not going to stick around to let that continue. No way.

*Sighs* Phew. That took a lot out of me. x//D Glad I got this out now~

And, anime aside, I do have a literary update for all of you~
Well, The Tainted Feathers isn't ready to be updated yet (But, I'm working on it). But, chapter 2 of All in the Cards has been written and typed up! ;D I just need to look over it one last time before I publish it, so look forward to it! (:

This has been your weekly update~ Maybe. Till next journal entry~

Congrats on your speech. And yar freedom! That's awesome.
lol Aki became a mindless fangirl like the rest. Whatta shame. Hehe YuseilikedBruno. That made me laugh. xD
Yeah I see what you mean. I hate it when people judge an anime or TV show from a paragraph they read on the internet. A friend of mine told me that for anime that I want to try out "watch the first five episodes, see how you feel. If you don't like it, then it's not for you. If you do, than you've got yourself a new anime to watch." But I think that that "friend" of yours was just being stupid about it.
*gasp* More of Ang's beautiful writing? I can't waaaiiiit. x3
